Time-Tracker – A Personal Time Management Solution

Time-Tracker is another personal project of mine. It is a very simple application that helps you keep track of the time you spend on any given task. It’s like having a timer at hand that you can start and stop in a couple of clicks (literally).
Time-Tracker relies extensively on Ajax technologies (DOM Scripting, XmlHttpRequest and client-side XML/XSLT).

CSS / Javascript Experimentation Campground

I just launched a new website, A CSS / Javascript Experimentation Campground.
The first project of this wiki-based (ie. collaborative) experience is to develop a javascript implementation of the CSS3 Multi-Column Module.

The Form Assembly

I’ve been working on it for the last 2 months and I’m quite excited about it.
The Form Assembly Project consists of a Web Form Builder, a collection of CSS stylesheets suitable for web forms. It is also the place where I publish a periodic column on Web Application Development.

Campus Quest

December 16, 2004 – In the highly competitive world of higher-education,
Campus Quest is providing an unique and entertaining way for prospective students to discover DePauw University, a small but reputed college in Indiana, USA.

It is a virtual multi-player environment where you can explore the campus, chat with other visitors, learn about the university and use your knowledge to complete each of the 16 quests and find the missing pieces to a jigsaw puzzle.

Project Characteristics:

Campus Quest is Flash/Java based and hosted on a Linux/Apache/mySQL webserver.
Multi-User support powered by the excellent Oregano Server, created by Jens Halm.

DGRemix & myPod MP3 player

December 15, 2004 – In 1993, I was among the group of students who produced the famous DGRemix. Well, when I say ‘famous’, I mean famous only among the geekiest alumni of Paris Technical Institute’s Computer Science department. In short, the DGRemix is a collection of songs inspired by and featuring excerpts of professor Daniel Guillaume’s classes. And, yes, it’s actually funnier that it sounds… if you know the guy, that is.

The songs are presented in a flash mini-site (in french) for the purpose of which I developed myPod, a simple mp3 flash player.
