Louison received his third piece of mail a few days ago: a shiny new American passport, complete with his four month-old mug shot and a required signature line. We aren’t sure yet how we’re going to get him to sign it before our travel date. I’ve been working with him on his cursive, but progress is slow. He keeps trying to eat the pencil.

We’re bringing him to France from September 7th to September 28th.
