Two Months!

Johanna’s two month birthday coincided with Martin Luther King day. It was also the day she got her first series of vaccinations. The combination of circumstances made it so that I had to take both children to the doctor’s office for Johanna’s appointment. It was a terrible ordeal, made worse by Lou’s sensitivity to his sister’s pain. After the vaccinations were given, both children were inconsolable!
But apart from the unpleasantness, we were able to confirm that Johanna is indeed huge for her age – in the 90th percentile for height, and the 75th for weight. She’s so much larger than her brother at the same age – she’s already in size sixth month clothing. As Cedric noted, if she continues at this rate (exponentially speaking, of course), soon she’ll be bigger than the universe. How will I ever keep her in clothes?

How could any 2 such adorable children be inconsolable.(haha) It sounds like Johanna is going to be like her father. At some time down the road you are going to be looking up at your daughter. Lou is such a compassionate child that his feelings for his sister are to be enjoyed while they are young. Age somehow takes that away. Especially when she is “in my stuff”.
Elizabeth says we are going to Terre Haute for Lou’s birthday. Someone let us know where. We will bring the kids Christmas also.
See you soon we hope. Love Ya, Grandma
