In exhibit A, we have what is called a “Mouche-Bebe.” A very cute name for an object with a truly disgusting function – it is used to suck snot from your infant’s nose. You put some cotton in, insert the large end in the nostril, and use the small end to suck, with your mouth. Apparently those bulb syringe things are not disgusting enough for the French… You know what though? I tried it, and it is ten times more effective than the bulb. Though still disgusting, and I imagined I could taste the snot coming out the other end…

Here, we have a book about animals going peepee. I swear, I didn’t realize what I was buying. I saw only animals and bright colors, and thought “yes, that will do.” How, you ask, could I be so oblivious? If you must ask, you’ve never been shopping with an 18 month-old. Anyway, I’m sure it will be useful for potty training…

Okay, I must have the peepee book, if only for the polar bear page; Amber is a fanatic about polar bears. If you have room to pick up one for me I will reimburse you when you return. Hope you’re all having a fun, relaxing trip.
    Love,
    Jill
