Baby Bean Pole
Today, we had our 9 month well-baby check-up. For once, the visit was uneventful – a reprieve from the usual baby torture immunizations. The baby measures well into the 75th percentile for height, but only in the mid-thirties for weight. I wonder who he’ll take after in that respect?

The days of well baby check-ups….ah yes, the memories that haunt me the most. What I remember is pulling into the parking lot and opening the back car door only to play a game of “Catch Me If You Can” with the toddler who went from side-to-side in the car in a feverish attempt to escape the clutches of a mother who was sure to take her to the toture chamber for the state required proding and poking. Who ever said shots should be mandatory should be “shot” themself.
